Encounter those who lead with wisdom beyond human understanding, revealing Jesus as the hope for all nations. Your Word declares that You are near to all who call on You in truth; draw near to those seeking solace and strength. We ask this for the sake of Your glory, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. In the midst of darkness and danger on this land, let Your light break forth to reveal Jesus to those who have been driven by violence. Set captives free and guard their hearts from despair. Raise up a bold witness in Your church there, that she may shine as a beacon of hope and forgiveness even amid threats. Meet those who plot destruction with Your mercy, and stop their hands from violence. You have promised that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper—hold fast these truths over Benue, and let every knee bow in confession of Christ our Lord. Amen.
