The Watchman Wire is a news aggregator that collects, links to, excerpts, and embeds articles, social media posts, videos, and other content relating to the global church — including reports of persecution, ministry, and prayer needs. The Site curates content from third-party sources and our own contributors. We do not warrant that any content is accurate, complete, or current.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with all applicable laws.

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any restricted or password-protected area;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by introducing malware or overloading our infrastructure;
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content or data except as permitted by law or with our written consent;
• Use the Site to harass, threaten, defame, or harm others; or
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate any person or organization.

Certain authorized users may submit links, excerpts, images, or commentary through a restricted posting area. If you submit content, you represent that you have the right to do so and that your submission does not infringe any third party’s rights or violate any law. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and reproduce that content on the Site. We may edit, remove, or decline to publish any submission at our discretion.

The Site’s name, logo, original text, design, and compilation of content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Aggregated third-party content remains the property of its respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any content. You may share links to the Site, but you may not copy, republish, or commercially exploit Site content without permission from the rightful owner.

The Site aggregates and links to content hosted by third parties, including news outlets and social platforms such as Instagram and X. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, websites, products, or services. Embedded content is subject to the terms and policies of the originating platform. Your interactions with any third party are solely between you and that third party.

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to wire@watchmanwire.com that includes: identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Site; your contact information; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act. We will respond to valid notices as required by law.

The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content is reliable or current.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Patmos Education Group, LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, whether based in contract, tort, or any other theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Patmos Education Group, LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. The provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. You may not assign these Terms without our consent.
