Pray with the global church

Redeemer, we lift up Father Clemente Morales Topete as he recovers from his harrowing ordeal. You are the God who sees and redeems those caught in despair. Sustain him with Your presence, and let peace flood his heart where fear has threatened to take root. Pour out courage on believers in Mexico facing intimidation, and restrain those driven by violence and greed. Use what the enemy meant for harm to advance Your kingdom in ways we cannot yet see. Reveal Jesus to those holding power through crime, that they might turn from darkness into the light of life. We ask all this knowing that Yours is the greatness and the power forever. Amen.
