Pray with the global church

God of Justice and Defender of the Oppressed, we lift up the Christian brick-kiln worker in Punjab and his family who have suffered at the hands of unjust masters. You see the bruises and hear the cries of those who are bound, and You promise to deliver the needy when they call. Break the chains of bondage that hold workers in cycles of poverty and abuse, and establish justice where there has been none. Reveal Jesus to the persecutors, opening their eyes to the dignity and value of every human life created in Your image. Strengthen the faith of believers in Pakistan, that they may endure with courage and hope. We pray for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done in Pakistan, for the glory of Your name. Amen.
