Lord God, we lift up the people of Yemen amidst the devastation following the Houthi attacks on commercial vessels. Your eye sees every act of violence and suffering, and nothing escapes Your sight. We ask You to dismantle the plans of those who wage war and to frustrate their purposes. Reveal Jesus as the Prince of Peace to all involved in this conflict, from leaders to soldiers to the families caught in between. Deliver those trapped in fear and protect the innocent whose lives are disrupted by these acts. Let justice and mercy flow like a mighty river in Yemen. Establish Your Kingdom where chaos reigns, that peace may yet flourish. We offer this prayer trusting in Your sovereign power. Amen.
