God of All Comfort, we bring before You the Nuba Mountains in Sudan, where violence now threatens communities that once knew peace. You see the sufferings of Your people, and You hear the cries of those who seek refuge. Uphold the believers in this region who face intimidation and danger, and let their faith shine as a light in the darkness. Reveal Jesus to those who oppose the Church, and dismantle the structures of violence that have taken root. Strengthen the bonds of peace among different faiths, and let the peace of Christ rule in the hearts of all who dwell in this land. To You belong the kingdom and the power, now and forever. Amen.
