Pray with the global church

Faithful Shepherd, we lift up the church in Vietnam and especially the Montagnard pastor sentenced to prison for his faithfulness to You. In a land where unity is wielded against Your people, let Your truth be a shield and buckler to them. Strengthen this pastor with the knowledge that nothing can separate him from Your love, and sustain the believers who gather in Your name despite the risks. Reveal Jesus to those who persecute, and turn the hearts of officials and authorities toward compassion and justice. Let the light of the Gospel shine brightly in Vietnam, drawing even the most resistant hearts to the hope found in Christ. May Your name be glorified in places of both freedom and oppression. Amen.
