Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we bring before You those in China imprisoned for their faith. As they face trials that test their endurance, let perseverance finish its work within them, producing a faith mature and complete. Guard their hearts against despair and fill them with the peace that passes all understanding even behind bars. Reveal Jesus to the authorities who hold them captive and to all who oppose Your name, that they too might find the grace they do not yet seek. Strengthen the believers still able to gather in China; may their lives be a witness to Your unfailing love. You promise wisdom to those who ask — let it be so for these prisoners, Lord. We entrust them to Your care, for through You alone come justice and freedom. Amen.
