Pray with the global church

Almighty God, we lift up the Middle Belt communities of Nigeria, where violence has taken many lives near Jos. You see every heartache and hear every cry for justice. Establish Your peace in these lands that groan under the weight of conflict, and raise a hedge of protection around those who follow Christ there. Reveal Jesus as Savior to those who perpetrate these attacks and to the officials charged with protecting their citizens. May their hearts be turned from destruction to life. Strengthen Your church in Jos, equipping them with courage and wisdom to bear witness amid turmoil. You have promised to uphold the cause of the oppressed — let that promise echo across this region today. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
