Pray with the global church

Shepherd, we bring the city of Karak before You, mourning those lost in the attack on the Greek Orthodox church. You know every wound carried by the families and community, and Your heart is near to those broken in spirit. Bring healing where violence has torn apart, and guard their hearts with a peace that passes understanding. Turn this tragedy into an opportunity for Your name to be known throughout Jordan. Reveal Jesus to both attackers and authorities alike, that they might see Your light breaking through darkness. Strengthen the faith of believers in Karak, comforting them and emboldening their witness of hope. Your rod and staff comfort them; even in the valley of shadow, they shall not fear. To You belong grace and truth forevermore. Amen.
