Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift up Nigeria, where countless lives have been lost to violence fueled by religious persecution. In a land torn apart by sorrow and conflict, be the refuge and strength for grieving families who cry out for justice and peace. Sustain believers who stand firm under threat, their hearts steadfast in You though surrounded by fear. Reveal Jesus to those who wield violence, that they might see Him as the light of the world who leads out of darkness. Open the eyes of leaders and media to speak truth about this suffering, to amplify not silence it. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard hearts and minds across Nigeria. For the glory of Your name and in the name of Christ our Lord, Amen.
