God of All Comfort, we lift up Upper Kauda in Sudan's Nuba Mountains, where grief and uncertainty have taken hold after the attack on St. Vincent Catholic Parish. You are near to the brokenhearted and You save those who are crushed in spirit. Comfort this mourning community, and let Your presence be a refuge in their midst. Establish justice in a land where violence has long reigned, and reveal Jesus as the light that shines in the darkness. Strengthen the believers who continue to serve and care for their neighbors. May their testimony be a beacon of hope to the surrounding communities and to those who oppose them. We entrust Upper Kauda to Your loving care, for You are their rock and salvation.
