Pray with the global church

Lord of Hosts, we bring before You the plight of the Ukrainian priest, taken from his pastoral duties and sent to military training. You know each step and path he takes. Guard him under Your wings, and let not his feet stumble as he walks this unexpected road. Confound those who deny his service and wisdom in Your name. Shine light on officials and soldiers around him that they might see Jesus revealed through this priest's life, even in uniform. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, keep his heart steady amidst confusion and fear. We ask for strength for all believers in Ukraine holding fast to their faith under pressure. May Your kingdom break into these hard places, transforming hearts that once resisted into hearts of flesh that welcome Your presence. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Amen.
