Pray with the global church

Lord God, we bring before You the land of Uganda, where eight men have been sentenced to death after the killing of those who testified to Your name. The blood of Your saints cries out from the ground — intervene now, O God, that many might see Jesus as Lord even through this darkness. Guard and strengthen the believers remaining by Lake Victoria; let them stand firm in faith and love despite persecution. Raise up voices within Uganda that proclaim Your grace and forgiveness, even to those who resist You. Open the eyes of officials and communities involved in this case, revealing Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Establish Your peace where revenge has ruled and light where shadows have lingered. To You belong mercy and justice forever. Amen.
