Pray with the global church

Savior, we give thanks for Your mercy in the lives of Fr. Patrick Mwenya and Br. who were spared from greater harm in the attack on their community in the Democratic Republic of Congo. You are near to the brokenhearted, and we ask that You bring healing to their bodies and peace to their minds. Guard the believers of this region as they seek to serve and love amidst violence. Dismantle the schemes of those who seek destruction and reveal Jesus to them as the One who reconciles enemies. May Your light break through in dark places, turning hearts toward the Prince of Peace. Let hope rise in these communities, sustaining them by Your Spirit. Through Christ who is our peace, Amen.
