Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we bring before You the people of Kaduna, where darkness has claimed lives in captivity. You see the tears of those who mourn, and Your heart grieves for every lost soul. Comfort the families of those who have perished, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Establish Your justice in Kaduna, restraining those who wield power for harm. Strengthen the believers to stand firm in faith and to shine as lights in the midst of the darkness surrounding them. Reveal Jesus to the captors and the communities watching, that the light of the world might transform hearts and bring about reconciliation. In Your faithfulness, O Lord, we entrust these lives to Your mercy, for Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, now and forever. Amen.
