God of All Comfort, we lift up the family of Moataz al-Atrash in the midst of their grief and uncertainty. Their cries for justice are heard by You, and not one tear is hidden from Your sight. Guard their hearts with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and make a way where none seems possible for truth to be revealed. Confront those who hold power unjustly, and reveal Jesus as the true Deliverer to soldiers, officials, and communities surrounding this tragedy. May Your light shine in the dark places of injustice, for You are near to the brokenhearted and save those crushed in spirit. We ask it for the glory of Your name. Amen.
