Pray with the global church

Holy One, we lift up Your Church in Shanghai as they face detention and pressure from authorities. You promised that when we are brought before rulers, the Holy Spirit will teach us what to say — grant this wisdom to the detained pastors and believers of Xi'an Zion's Light Church. Guard their hearts with peace that passes understanding, strengthen them in the knowledge of Christ crucified and risen, and let their testimony shine brightly before those who hold them captive. May Your Spirit move among officials and persecutors, revealing Jesus to them as Savior and Lord. Establish a witness for Your name in every corner of Shanghai and beyond. For Your glory alone do we ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
