Pray with the global church

God of all comfort, we lift up the persecuted believers in Northern Nigeria. You see the violence that surrounds them and know their cries for justice. Be their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Establish their hearts in peace, despite the storms that rage around them, and let Your light shine through their steadfast faith. Reveal Jesus to those who persecute Your people, that they might turn from darkness to light. Raise up leaders of righteousness in Nigeria who will act justly and love mercy. Protect and sustain Your church, and let Your kingdom come with power, transforming hearts and communities for the glory of Your name. We ask this through Jesus Christ, the hope of all nations. Amen.
