Pray with the global church

Everlasting God, we stand in awe of those who have borne witness through their suffering, and we remember the blood of the martyrs that cries out to You from the ground. Your word teaches us that precious in Your sight is the death of Your faithful ones, and You do not forget their cries. Strengthen the believers today who stand at similar crossroads of faith and persecution. Let their testimonies be a light for many, showing the way to salvation. Reveal Jesus to those who wield power and might with violence, that their hearts may turn toward grace and truth. Sustain those under threat, making them steadfast like Mount Zion which cannot be moved. We trust in Your justice and mercy until the day when every tear is wiped away. In the name of Jesus, our Savior. Amen.
