Pray with the global church

Maker of Heaven and Earth, we lift up the believers in Syria, steadfast amidst war and displacement. As Mar Elias Greek Orthodox Church resounds with prayer, let Your Spirit comfort those who gather, that their worship may be a refuge in troubled times. Uphold them as pillars of hope within Damascus, and renew their strength daily as they face uncertainty. Reveal Jesus to neighbors who watch with curiosity or skepticism, breaking through despair with light and truth. Interrupt violence with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and stir revival across the Middle East. In their endurance, show the enduring power of faith in Christ. We entrust Syria's church into Your hands, confident in Your sustaining presence and victorious reign. Amen.
