Pray with the global church

God of all comfort, we bring before You the believers in Tehran as they face the confiscation of the historic St Peter Evangelical Church. Your Word assures us that nothing can separate us from Your love, and we hold onto this truth in the face of injustice. Strengthen Your church in Iran, that they may stand firm in faith and love, even as they are pressed on every side. Reveal Jesus to the officials and authorities who act against Your people, and let the light of Christ penetrate the darkness of their hearts. Sustain the faithful in Tehran and let Your kingdom come in ways that cannot be hindered by human hands. For the glory of Your name, we ask these things in the name of Jesus our Lord. Amen.
