God of the Martyrs, we honor You for the faithful witness of St. Matthew Ayariga, who laid down his life for the name of Jesus in Libya. As his memory is enshrined in this Texas parish, we ask that You strengthen the believers there with the same spirit of courage and steadfastness. Establish Your Church in every place as a beacon of hope and light, even in the face of persecution. Reveal Jesus to those who oppose Your name, and let the testimony of the martyrs draw many to salvation. Raise up new witnesses who will declare Your praise among the nations, and let the blood of the martyrs continue to be the seed of the Church. For the glory of Your name, we pray. Amen.
