Pray with the global church

God of Peace, we bring before You the land around Jos, where fear rises as motorcycle convoys mobilize for violence. You alone can make wars cease to the ends of the earth — intervene here with Your peace that passes understanding, stilling plans for harm and turning aside those who wield weapons. Protect the believers in Riyom and its surroundings, sustain their faith as they stand firm against threats. Reveal Jesus to those who plot evil, and let His light scatter darkness in their hearts. Let local officials and community leaders seek paths of peace rather than retaliation, that righteousness might be known in this place. We ask this in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Amen.
