Pray with the global church

God of Truth, we bring before You the Church of the Virgin Mary in Giza, recently marred by an act of arson. You see all things, including the motives hidden in the heart. Restore what was lost and give strength to Your people as they gather to worship amidst ashes. Reveal Jesus to the community around them and transform the heart of the one who set this fire, showing him grace that surpasses understanding. Guard this congregation against fear, embolden them with unwavering hope, and let their testimony be a light to those who do not yet know You. To You belongs all wisdom, power, and glory through Christ our Lord. Amen.
