Pray with the global church

Redeemer, we bring before You the release of the Sudanese pastor's son, thanking You for delivering him from prison walls. Yet, danger still looms in Khartoum — guard him with Your mighty hand. As Isaiah speaks, no weapon formed against him shall prosper; make this word true for him today. Lift his eyes to know he is seated with Christ in heavenly places, beyond the reach of fear and threat. Strengthen the believers in Sudan to stand firm, emboldened by Your Spirit. Break through the darkness surrounding those who oppose Your name, revealing Jesus even in their midst. Establish peace where violence has reigned, that all might see and turn toward the light of Your mercy. We trust You to sustain him and ask it in Jesus' name. Amen.
