Pray with the global church

Holy One, we lift up the Nuba Mountains in Sudan, grieving the execution of a reverend and his companions. You see the suffering of Your people and hear their cries for justice. Establish Your righteousness in this land where violence seeks to silence Your witness. Comfort those who mourn and give strength to the believers in Heban to stand firm in faith despite persecution. Reveal Jesus to those who carried out these acts, and transform hearts that are hardened by hatred. Let Your light shine in the darkness, that many in Sudan might come to the knowledge of truth and embrace the Prince of Peace. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in Sudan, as it is in heaven. Amen.
