Faithful Shepherd, we lift up Najwa Musa Konda, detained in the Nuba Mountains, and thank You for her courage in serving amidst danger. You are the refuge for the oppressed and the steadfast anchor for the soul. Strengthen Najwa with Your presence in the midst of her imprisonment, and let Your Spirit reveal Himself as the Steadfast One to both her and her captors. Bring light to the darkness surrounding military courts and those who oppress Your people. Reveal Jesus to the persecutors, softening hearts that have been hardened against Your truth. Let Your justice and mercy flow through Sudan, establishing Your peace in places of conflict and fear. In the grace and power of Jesus Christ, we wait and trust. Amen.
