Pray with the global church

Lord of Hosts, we lift up the children of Sri Lanka facing barriers to worship and faith education in state schools. Hear their voices as they seek to know You and strengthen them in the truth that is Jesus Christ, our Lord. Establish Your presence within these schools so that no child lacks the opportunity to learn of Your mighty works and loving kindness. Open doors where there are none, bringing teachers who will faithfully instruct them in Your ways. Reveal Yourself to school authorities and policymakers, opening their hearts to understanding the value and freedom found in knowing You. Transform minds that resist this freedom until they witness Your undeniable love. Let the message of the cross shine brightly in every classroom and draw many toward salvation. In Jesus’ name, we entrust these children to Your care. Amen.
