God of Justice and Mercy, we lift up the plight of North Korean defectors facing forced repatriation from China. You see the oppressed and hear their cries; let Your justice roll down like waters over this situation. We ask You to intervene where human laws have failed, and to establish a refuge for those seeking freedom. Reveal Jesus to the officials and decision-makers in China, that they might act with compassion and integrity. Strengthen the Church in South Korea and beyond to stand in solidarity and truth, advocating for those in chains. Deliver these defectors from fear and bondage, and let their stories testify to Your power and mercy. In the name of Jesus, our Deliverer, Amen.
