Pray with the global church

Redeemer, we bring before You the turmoil in Ethiopia’s Oromia region, where violence has taken sixty of Your children from this world. Demolish the dividing walls of hostility that have erupted between communities — for You are our peace, breaking down every barrier. Comfort those who mourn and heal the wounds, both seen and unseen, left in the wake of this tragedy. Establish unity where division has sown discord. Let the knowledge of Jesus transform hearts within Oromia, drawing even those who sow violence into the light of Your love. Guard the believers there with Your presence and embolden them to stand as beacons of hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
