Pray with the global church

Lord of Hosts, we bring before You the six Coptic youths detained in Minya, accused of contempt for religion. We stand with them and ask You to be their refuge, shielding them from fear and discouragement. As they endure this trial, let their hearts rest secure in the knowledge that Your steadfast love surrounds those who trust in You. Reveal Jesus to those who would condemn them; let scales fall from eyes that have not yet seen His truth. Guard these young men's families in peace amid uncertainty, and strengthen their resolve to love even those who persecute them. Let Your justice roll down like waters over Minya and show Your strength by softening hearts that seem hardened beyond reach. We trust that You are making all things new and entrust these matters into Your hands through Christ our Savior. Amen.
