God of All Comfort, we lift up Hammoud, a village in mourning after the attack on St George's Church. In the midst of shock and sorrow, be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Let Your peace settle upon those who gather to grieve, and comfort those who clean away the traces of violence. Pour out Your Spirit to mend broken hearts and bring healing to this wounded place. Reveal Jesus to the community — to those who know You as well as to those who need Your saving grace. Quiet the turmoil within hearts and minds, drawing them toward Your love that casts out fear. We ask these things for Your glory and name's sake, trusting in the One who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. Amen.
