Pray with the global church

Shepherd, we bring before You the escalating tensions in Jos as armed militants are mobilized. You see all that unfolds in these lands, and nothing escapes Your watchful eye. Establish peace where violence seeks a foothold, and confound every plan that breeds destruction. Reach into the hearts of those planning harm, and reveal Jesus to them as the true Shepherd who lays down His life for His sheep. Guard the believers in Jos and let their faith stand firm in this time of trial. Pour out courage upon them as they face uncertainty, and let their witness be a light to surrounding communities. We trust in Your goodness over this region and ask all this in the name of Jesus, our Savior. Amen.
