Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we bring before You the family of the Scottish missionary who was found dead in Athens, and we ask for Your comfort in their deep pain. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit; be their refuge and strength. In this time of sorrow, may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds. Reveal Jesus to the suspect and to those investigating this tragic event, that they may encounter the One who heals and restores. Let justice flow like a river in this situation, and may truth guide every decision. We trust in Your unfailing love to bring redemption out of tragedy. In Christ, our hope and our peace, we pray.
