Pray with the global church

Savior, we lift before You the situation in Chelyabinsk where Yelena faces imprisonment for her faith. You know her by name and see her plight; Your eyes are upon the righteous, and Your ears are open to their cry. Surround her with Your peace that passes understanding, and let it guard her heart in the penal colony. Strengthen all believers in Russia who face similar trials. Make Your presence known to them as they stand firm under pressure, revealing Jesus through their witness. Turn the hearts of those who prosecute and imprison toward Your truth, that they might encounter the transformative power of Christ. Let Your Kingdom advance across Russia, breaking barriers set by fear and hostility. We trust in Your redeeming power to bring light into places of darkness. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
