God of Truth, we lift Romany Gharib into Your hands as he remains detained in Egypt. You are the refuge for those oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Uphold him and those standing with him as they face accusations meant to silence them. Break through deception with Your light; let the truth be known among the authorities and reveal Jesus to all involved in these proceedings. Guard Romany with peace that surpasses understanding, even in confinement. Make Your Word dwell richly among the believers in Egypt, strengthening them with power through Your Spirit. By Your mighty hand, bring freedom where there is captivity, both physical and spiritual. For Your truth endures forever. Amen.
