Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift up the people of Peru in the wake of the earthquakes that have shaken the Junín region, leaving families grieving and countless lives disrupted. You are the refuge and strength for all who are in distress, and Your presence is near to the brokenhearted. Sustain the rescuers as they search for survivors and grant them wisdom and endurance in their efforts. Reveal Jesus to those who have lost homes and loved ones, that they may find hope and peace amid their sorrow. Let Your church in Peru be a beacon of comfort and support, showing Your compassion and mercy to all affected. Be the rock upon which they stand as the ground beneath them trembles. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
