Pray with the global church

Shepherd, we lift the Benedictine abbey in southeastern Poland before You, shaken by this violent act. Your Word tells us You are near to the brokenhearted. Draw close to the wounded, bringing healing and comfort as they bear this trauma. Guide the leaders of this community in wisdom and grace, that they might lead their flock with courage and love. Reveal Jesus to those who harbor violence in their hearts and show them a better way. Let Your peace replace the fear in this region, that the light of Christ may shine even brighter. Establish Your Kingdom there, turning mourning into rejoicing in Your time. We rest these cries with You, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
