Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift before You the church of Zémio, grieving the loss of Father Crépin Martial Monga, who served faithfully until his last breath. You see the sorrow in their hearts and the fear that seeks to overshadow their hope. Establish Your peace in their midst, and let the seeds of faith sown through baptism bear fruit in the lives of those 175 souls. Strengthen the church in the Central African Republic, and guard them from the schemes of those who seek their harm. Reveal Jesus to those who wield violence, that their hearts might be transformed by the One who is the resurrection and the life. Pour out courage upon Your people, that they may stand firm in faith and love. In the name of Jesus, our Redeemer and Hope, Amen.
