Sovereign Lord, we lift up Mumangi Muthiani and the believers of Kenya, where violence and economic hardship press heavily upon lives. You are a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Thank You for preserving Muthiani's life in the face of danger and for the grace that restores the broken. Strengthen the faith of Your people in Kenya, and guard their hearts and minds with the peace that surpasses understanding. Reveal Jesus to those who wield violence, that they may turn from darkness to light. Provide for the daily needs of families who labor under uncertainty, and let Your justice flow like a river in this land. To You belong salvation, mercy, justice, and everlasting glory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
