Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift up the grieving and displaced in Nigeria, where violence has shattered lives and communities. Even as despair and loss surround them, You remain a refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. Sustain the young mother who now faces a future without her husband, and embrace her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Reveal Jesus to those who sow violence, and turn hearts from destruction to reconciliation. Let Your righteousness and peace be established in Nigeria, and strengthen the Church to stand firm in hope and compassion. May Your light shine in the darkness and draw many to Your saving grace. We trust in Your unfailing love and pray in the name of Jesus, our Redeemer. Amen.
