Living God, we lift up the martyrs of this century who have reflected the light of Christ even in their deaths. Their testimonies shine like stars in a dark world. Guard and strengthen those who remain, that their faith may not fail under the weight of persecution. Let the witness of the martyrs reveal Jesus to their persecutors, turning hearts from darkness to the glorious light of the Gospel. Establish Your Church in every place where her blood has been shed, and let her stand unshaken by fear or violence. You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Uphold those who suffer for Your name and let their testimony speak louder than any earthly power. For Your glory and in the hope we have through Christ our Lord. Amen.
