Pray with the global church

Spirit of Life and Wisdom, we lift up the beleaguered communities of Plateau state where violence has taken another pastor and many others. You have promised to deliver Your people from the hand of the wicked — bring strength to the local authorities charged with maintaining peace, and fill them with Your wisdom to stand against this evil. Strengthen believers grieving their loss, shield their hearts with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and keep them steadfast in hope. Reveal Jesus to those responsible for these acts, and confront them as You met Saul on the road. Let Your truth illuminate every corner of Plateau state. May Your name be a strong tower for all who call upon it, and may righteousness reign in this troubled land. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
