God of Justice and Peace, we lift up the city of Jos in Plateau State, where unauthorized groups have sought to impose their own rules. You are the One who establishes authority and sets boundaries for the good of all Your creation. Restrain those who seek to intimidate and impose fear outside the law, and let Your peace be the strength of the residents. Reveal Jesus to those who enforce unjust laws, that they might turn from intimidation to love, and bring Your light to those living under the shadow of fear. Protect the believers in Jos, and let their witness shine brightly in this tense environment. Establish righteousness and justice in this place, for Your name is a strong tower and refuge. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Redeemer and Deliverer. Amen.
