Pray with the global church

God of Freedom, we bring before You Pastor John Cao, imprisoned unjustly in China for his faith and ministry. We ask that You uphold him with Your righteous right hand, granting him peace and strength in his confinement. Establish Your justice in his situation, and let truth break forth like the dawn. Reveal Jesus to the authorities and guards around him, that they might encounter the light that dispels all darkness. Sustain the believers in China who continue to persevere under pressure, that they may be filled with courage and hope. Let Pastor John's story bear witness to Your mercy and grace, drawing many to the saving knowledge of Christ. In the name of Jesus, our Deliverer, we entrust this prayer. Amen.
