Pray with the global church

God of Courage and Comfort, we lift up the pastor in the midst of threats for baptizing converts from Islam. He stands firm in faith, knowing that in this world we will have trouble, but Jesus has overcome the world. Strengthen this pastor and the believers he shepherds, granting them boldness to continue proclaiming Your name despite opposition. Protect them from harm and let their courage testify of Your power to those who oppose them. Reveal Jesus to those who threaten, that they might see and believe. Let the waters of baptism continue to flow, bearing witness to new life in Christ, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds. For the glory of Your name and the advancement of Your Kingdom, we pray. Amen.
