Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we bring before You the land of Nigeria, where violence has spilled innocent blood and grief weighs heavy on the hearts of many. Draw near to the brokenhearted families who mourn their loved ones taken in this wave of attacks. Only You can hold them in Your peace. Establish Your presence among believers there, that they might remain rooted and grounded in love even amid turmoil. Let their testimony be a light pointing to Christ, who is our hope of glory. Turn the hearts of those who perpetuate violence, and reveal Jesus in ways that transform and restore broken communities. To You alone belongs all power and authority; bring forth reconciliation through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
