God of All Comfort, we lift up Pastor John Cao who longs for healing and reunion with his family. As he endures stage 4 prostate cancer far from home, hear his cries for relief and restoration — You listen to the groans of the afflicted and draw near to those who call on Your name. Reveal Jesus to those holding him in China, to officials who may show mercy, and to all witnesses of his faith. Let Your justice roll down like waters, cleansing every place where suffering has taken root. Sustain his spirit and lift his eyes even now, that in all things Christ might be magnified through his life. For the sake of Your kingdom's advance and the glory of Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
