About the dispatch
International Christian Concern (Persecution.org)·October 29, 2026
The release earlier this year of Pastor Ezra Jin Mingri after nine months in Chinese detention marked a significant victory for religious freedom advocates, but it has done little to change the circumstances facing Christians who refuse to submit to government control.

Lord God, we turn to You as Pastor Ezra Jin Mingri is released, yet mindful that the struggle for religious freedom in China continues. You know the hardships faced by those who refuse to bow to government control. Strengthen the believers in China, Lord; let them not grow weary or lose heart. Reveal Jesus to those who oppose Your name, and transform their hearts like You did with Saul of Tarsus. Guard Your people against fear, and pour out courage on the pastors and families facing intimidation. Establish Your church firmly so that no force can prevail against it. For the glory of Christ's name we pray. Amen.
